Wow! I can’t believe we are already half way through January! The last few months have been quite incredible for me personally, but also for Expat Parenting Abroad.
I am so grateful for all the support, love and compassion everyone has showed our family during our period of transition. From those literally bringing me lunch while I was packing up, to those taking the pressure off when I was physically done with all the unpacking. And all those sending thoughts and prayers from afar. Thank you!
Transition is always a challenge, it’s a bitter-sweet experience. But I have to say, this latest move has been one of our best. In terms of the girls settling quickly, and feeling so comfortable in their new environment. In terms of hubby getting straight into his role. But also in terms of all of us feeling settled and content so soon after arriving.
Hubby and I agreed that although we have lived in Auckland before, 12 years ago, we would treat this as a new move, and I think that mental space really did help us. But the one thing that kept me ‘sane’ during our months of transition was continuing to work on Expat Parenting Abroad and running my groups. You know those moments when you’ve done all you physically can, and you just have to sit and wait. For me, those moments, it was such a blessing to have my business to focus on.
So today I’m excited to share with you what’s been happening at Expat Parenting Abroad over the past few months and outline what you can expect from me in the coming year.
For those who know me well, you’ll know that I work with a business coach, Amel. Late last year I experienced a rather ground breaking session, and as a result I have redesigned the coaching packages that I offer. These packages are very different from what I have offered in the past, and I really feel that I will be in a better position to support you and impact on your life:
- Living (and Loving) Your Expat Life – Expat parenting can be tough and some days simply overwhelming, but managed well the rewards of this crazy life can be amazing!
- The Dual Life Challenge – I want more for me, but my life keeps getting in the way!
After running very successful Support Groups for Mums Abroad over the past year, I have done another round of research and updated a lot of the resources. I am super excited to be sharing these new resources with the next Support Group starting 17 February 2020. The Support Group covers 12 themes/topics over 12 weeks, with a virtual coffee call each week. While some of the resources are linked to being an expat mum for the first time, this group is for anyone who wants more support and connection with a group of mums just like you. If you are interested in joining this group, please do sign up, spaces are strictly limited.
In addition, in the latter part of 2019, I tested a new concept which I am now ready to launch… The Expat Mums Mastermind. If you have been an expat for a while and you’re ready to take your experience to the next level then this Mastermind is for you! We cover six topics over a period of 12 weeks, that’s one every two weeks, giving you the time and space you need to try out some of the concepts we discuss. The new Mastermind Group will start 24 February 2020, if you are interested in this group sign up today.
I am also really looking forward to kicking off the New Year with a special webinar, 3 Smart Ways to Achieve What You Want in 2020! In this short, 30 minute webinar, I will be discussing the 3 things you can do to make your goals become a reality this year! If you are interested in joining me for this webinar on 5 February 2020, sign up here.
So, as I mentioned it has been an incredible few months! There has been a lot happening behind the scenes and I am so excited to be able to share more of this with you over the coming weeks.
Have you decided what you want to achieve in 2020? Please do share with me here, together let’s make this a brilliant year!
